黃玉山教授當選
全國人民代表大會代表
Prof YS Wong elected to
National People’s Congress
香港科技大學副校長（行政）兼生物學系教授黃玉山教
授，當選為新一屆港區全國人民代表大會代表。全國人
大為中國最高的國家權力及立法機關。當選後黃教授表
示，他會在今後的五年任期內，關注教育、香港和內地
的科研合作、以及環境保護問題。
Vice-President for Administration and Business, and
Professor of Biology, Prof YS Wong, was elected as a
Deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), the
highest organ of state power and legislative house in Mainland China. Prof Wong
said he would focus on education, cross-boundary co-operation in science and
technology, and environmental protection during his five-year term at NPC.
