特許公認會計師公會全球考試狀元
ISMT student scores best in ACCA global exam
資訊與系統管理學系工商管理學學士畢業生霍俊文參加特許公認會計師公
會2007年6月的考試，並在商業資訊管理試卷中擊敗世界各地8,500名考
生，考取全球最高分數。霍俊文曾任和記黃埔有限公司內部審計員，不久
便轉職羅兵咸永道會計師事務所公司系統及程序控制部高級審計員。
Raymond Fok Chun Man, a BBA graduate in Information and Systems
Management, beat 8,500 students from around the world when his paper
on business information management was rated the best globally in that
subject in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ June 2007
examination. Raymond is now a Senior Associate in Systems and Process
Assurance at PricewaterhouseCoopers after a spell as internal audit officer at Hutchison Whampao Ltd.

runner up in cross-border competition
五名會計學學生—盧秉信、黎倩彤、胡寅君、許康怡及鄧俊培—充
份發揮智慧及普通話技巧，力壓來自大中華地區大學的十支參賽隊
伍，在廣州舉行的本屆德勤稅務賽決賽中奪得亞軍。這是香港隊伍
有史以來在是項比賽中獲得的最高名次。
Five accounting students – Lo Ping Shun, Queenie Lai Sin Tung, Wu
Yan Kwan, Anthony Hui Hong Yee and Eddie Tang Chun Pui – pitted
their wits, and their Putonghua skills, against 10 other teams from
universities in Greater China to be named first runner-up in this year’s
Deloitte Tax Championship finals held in Guangzhou, the highest placing ever won by a Hong Kong team.

Mr Liu Liyu (photo), PhD candidate in Nano Science and Technology,
was bestowed the Tokyo Tech Young Researcher Award at the “Asia
Nanotech Camp 2008”.
