Prof Jack Lau,
Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, became Ernst and Young
Entrepreneur of the Year 2009. He also received the 2009 Excellence in Achievement of World
Chinese Youth Entrepreneurs Award, and the Grand Prize (all categories) and the Gold Award
(Consumer Electronics) in the 2009 Hong Kong Electronic Industry Association Award for
Outstanding Innovation and Technology Products.
