應用科學院，及國立臺灣大學理學院，簽訂了多
份學術交流及合作協議。
著名講者蒞臨科大
每年均有全球著名的思想家蒞臨科大，就啟發性
的議題，與我們分享其真知灼見。在剛過去的年
度，這方面的成果尤其豐碩。
2005-06年度，科大邀得劍橋大學的霍金教授
來港訪問六天。為慶祝我們成立15周年，大學
亦舉行了一系列傑出學人講座，由下列著名講者
主講：
Academic exchange and cooperation agreements were signed between
our School of Engineering and the University of Pennsylvania’s School
of Engineering and Applied Science, and between our School of Science
and the National Taiwan University’s College of Science respectively.
Eminent Speakers at HKUST
Every year, some of the world’s leading thinkers come to HKUST to
provide further insights on a range of stimulating subjects. The year
under review proved a particularly bountiful one in this regard.
During 2005-06, HKUST was honored to host a six-day visit by
Professor Stephen Hawking, University of Cambridge Lucasian Professor
of Mathematics. To mark our 15th Anniversary, the University also
organized a series of distinguished lectures (see Calendar of Events).
