高等研究院揭幕所舉行的傑出講座系列，講者包括學
術大師及商界翹楚。演講後，由諾貝爾物理學得主楊
振寧教授及朱經武校長主持的圓桌會議，座無虛席。
The Institute for Advanced Study’s Inaugural Series
featured lectures on campus by distinguished
scholars and business leaders, highlighted by a
roundtable discussion with President Paul Chu and
Prof Chen Ning Yang, IAS International Advisory
Board Chairman.
逾150位1996年畢業校友在校園重聚，他們在聚餐後參
觀畢業後新建的設施。
Over 150 alumni from the Class of 1996 held a
reunion on campus. Following a meal, they visited
facilities developed after their graduation.

科大於第八屆中國國際高新技術成果交易會上，展示十四
項科大研製的科技儀器及產品。
HKUST showcased fourteen hi-tech products and
systems at the 8th annual China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) at
the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.
國家水利部汪恕誠部長訪問科大，並就節水型社會如何協助解
決社會經濟可持續發展及水荒問題發表演講。
Mr Shucheng Wang, Minister of Water Resources, visited
HKUST and delivered a lecture on how a water-saving society
can help establish socio-economic sustainability and solve the
shortage of water resources in China.
