為慶祝十五週年校慶，科大舉辦以文化康體活動為主的國際學生節，邀
請來自中國內地、澳門、台灣、新加坡、馬來西亞、英國及本地其他院
校的逾八百名學生齊聚科大，參與運動盛事。
An International Student Festival (InterFest) featuring cultural
and sports events was organized as part of the University’s 15th
anniversary celebrations. About 800 students from Mainland China,
Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and the UK attended.
中學師生前來本校參加第14期科普知識講座。
Secondary school pupils and teachers came
to campus for the 14th General Knowledge
Lectures Series.

科大與國家語言文字工作委員會普通話培訓測試中心簽
訂合作協議,，確立科大的語文中心為國家認可的普通話
測試中心。
An agreement was signed by HKUST Putonghua
Training and Testing Centre, establishing its Language
Centre as an authorized testing centre for the
Putonghua Proficiency Test for the State Language
Commission.
由北京科技大學和香港科大合作的北京－香港科大聯合研究中
心，致力推動研究、培育人才及相互交流，在南沙資訊科技園
正式啟用。
The HK-Beijing UST Joint Research Center, a collaboration
between HKUST and its Beijing counterpart (USTB), was
inaugurated at the Nansha IT Park in Guangzhou for initiating
research, training and information exchange.
