Working with all Schools as well as undertaking its own research and elite education

EDUCATION WITH IMPACT
2013-14 marked a special year for the Dual Degree
Program in Technology and Management, which
celebrated its 10th anniversary with an event attended
by over 160 students, alumni, faculty and staff.
In addition, the Environmental Management and
Technology program was successfully accredited by the
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Innovation for Global Health Technology helped to
widen students’ outlook as well as benefit society.
Students visiting Cambodia went to slum areas and
mobile clinics operated by a partner NGO, leading
to recommendations for solutions centered on
simple technology.
Twelve Dual Degree students joined the Global
Social Venture Competition in Japan, participating in
multidisciplinary teams with other overseas university
students to tackle urban challenges, such as high youth
unemployment.
