解放軍與科大師生全方位交流
People’s Liberation Army Met with HKUST Staff and Students
八十多位中國人民解放軍駐港部隊成員於副司令員董文久少將的率領下，到訪
科大與師生作全方位交流。他們特別進行植樹紀念及牌匾揭幕儀式，並與科大
師生進行籃球及乒乓球友誼比賽。
Over 80 members of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Garrison, led by Major
General Dong Wenjiu, met with HKUST staff and students. They attended a tree-
planting and plaque-unveiling ceremony at HKUST to mark the historical occasion.
They also played basketball and table tennis with members of the University.

公共服務科技同樂日
Public Services Funfair
2008年公共服務科技同樂日展示了科大工學院的多項創新發
明，以期提升及培養年輕人對創新、科技及設計的興趣。
A number of innovative inventions by HKUST’s School of
Engineering were showcased in the Science in Public Services
Funfair 2008 to promote and develop interest in innovation,
technology and design among the young.
乾隆皇帝七世嫡孫主持清代末代家史講座

Qianlong Gave Lecture on Qing History
清代乾隆皇帝七世嫡孫、名書畫家及藝術評論家愛新覺
羅恆紹教授蒞臨科大主持普及講座「清代末代家史」，詳
述溥儀大婚的禮節，並特別繪畫闊七米、題為「長白山
神韻」的國畫及將之贈與科大。
Aisin Gioro Hengshao, the 7th generation grandson of
Qianglong and famous artist, gave a lecture at HKUST
on the wedding etiquette of Pu Yi, the last emperor. He
also presented to HKUST his 7-meter Chinese ink painting
which featured the beauty of Changbaishan Mountains.

Signing of a Collaborative Agreement with the Nansha IT Park
中國科技部萬鋼部長蒞臨科大，與南沙資訊科技園簽署合作協議。
The Minister for Science and Technology, Mr Wan Gang, came to the University for
the signing of a collaborative agreement with the Nansha IT Park.
