霍英東體育中心命名典禮
Naming of Fok Ying Tung
Sports Center
科大將校園海旁的大學體育中心命名為霍英東體
育中心，並在體育中心入口樹立霍英東銅像，以
紀念已故霍英東先生對科大的鼎力支持、及對本
港與內地教育發展作出的努力。
HKUST named its seafront Sports Center after the
late Mr Henry Fok Ying Tung and erected a bronze
statue at the entrance in recognition of Mr Fok’s
stalwart support for the University as well as his
enormous effort in promoting sports in Hong Kong
and on the mainland.
與約翰斯霍普金斯大學推出資優培訓
Collaboration with Johns Hopkins University
Center on Gifted Programs
科大與約翰斯霍普金斯大學資優教育中心合作推出世界級資優
青少年培訓計劃，透過暑期課程啟發學員數理各科的思維，由
中心副總監盧運時博士與科大首席副校長錢大康教授主持簽約
儀式。
HKUST teamed up with Johns Hopkins University Center for
Talented Youth to offer world-class developmental programs for
talented youngsters worldwide. The programs aimed to inspire
scientific minds through summer programs. Dr Charles Rowins,
Deputy Director of the Center and Prof Roland Chin officiated at
the signing ceremony.
與暨南大學發展神經科學聯合實驗室
Collaboration with Jinan University on
Neuroscience and Drug Research
科大與暨南大學簽署協議，成立香港科技大學與暨
南大學神經科學和創新藥物研究聯合實驗室，共同
開展治療和延緩神經系統疾病藥物的研究。
HKUST and Jinan University signed an agreement
to set up a Joint Laboratory on Neuroscience and
Innovative Drugs to conduct research on drugs aimed
to cure and postpone neurological diseases.
