第四屆Gordon Research Conference於科大舉行。大會主題為「 分子和細胞神經生物
學」，吸引來自歐洲、北美及亞太區共超過170名傑出科學家、博士後研究員及學生參加。
The fourth Gordon Research Conference was held at HKUST. The meeting focused
on “Molecular and Cellular Neurobiology” and attracted more than 170 leading
scientists, postdoctoral fellows and students from Europe, North America and the
Asia-Pacific region.

科大將大學圖書館命名為「李兆基圖書館」，並舉行隆重
的命名典禮，以答謝李兆基博士，通過李兆基基金向科
大捐贈3,300萬港元的善舉。
A dedication ceremony was held to celebrate the
naming of the University Library after Dr Lee Shau
Kee in recognition of his HK$33 million donation to
the University through the Lee Shau Kee Foundation.

communication were held, among others.
