原創性,兩者都不易傳授。然而,理學院孕育的環境正好配合
這個目標。
學習的三個階段是:學「甚麼?」、學「如何?」、學「何解?」,
當中尤以「何解?」最重要,這亦是我們最著重的。
Independent thinking is the soul of a University, and science is about creativity and
originality, both extremely difficult to teach. The School nurtures an environment
favourable to this task.
Of the three stages of learning through which our students must go through —
learning what, learning how, and learning why – it is learning why that is the
most important, and hence most emphasized.
