理學院也提供納米科學及技術，以及大氣、海岸
及海洋環境學等研究生課程。
所有學系的實驗室都配備最先進的科技設施，作
為教學及研究用途。海岸海洋實驗室以流動的
清潔海水飼養生物，供海洋環境科學學生研究和
學習。
理學院的研究課程，由多個中央設施及跨學科研
究機構支援，當中包括生物技術研究所、納米材
料技術研究所及環境研究所。
理學院落實為香港社會及經濟發展作出貢獻的使
命，不時為中小學舉辦外展教育活動，亦有組織
科學普及講座，成績超卓。在2006年，理學院
聯同香港電台，合辦每週一小時的科普節目。
The School also offers postgraduate program in Nano Science
and Technology as well as the Atmospheric, Marine and Coastal
Environment program.
All departments have well-established laboratories that are equipped
with state-of-the-art facilities for teaching and research. Access to the
Coastal Marine Laboratory that maintains organisms in very clean
running seawater is available to Marine Environmental Science students
for research and education purposes.
The School’s research programs are supported by a number of
central facilities and interdisciplinary research institutes, such as the
Biotechnology Research Institute, the Institute of Nano Materials and
Nano Technology, and the Institute for the Environment.
With an eye to the university’s mission of contributing to Hong Kong’s
social and economic development, the School is a champion in
running education out-reach programs for primary and secondary
schools and in organizing popular science talks. In 2006, the School
joined hands with Radio Television Hong Kong in organizing weekly
one-hour programs on popular science.
