年六月，
科大校長朱經武教授獲美國總統委任為美國國
家科學獎評審委員會委員，任期三年至2009年，協助
選出美國科學界最高殊榮的得主。朱教授獲此委任，彰顯他
的傑出學術成就和在科學界的崇高地位。
I
n June,
President Paul Chu was appointed to the US
President’s Committee on the National Medals of Science
for three years till 2009. He will help select recipients for
this highest scientific honor in the US. This appointment
is another feather in the President’s cap as a pre-eminent
member of the scientific community.
