It was jointly organized by the

State Key Laboratory of Marine
Environmental Science, Xiamen
University. The symposium received
support from the Croucher
Foundation and KC Wong
Education Foundation.

HKUST Institute for Advanced Study
pioneered a
one-month topical
research program on arithmetic
geometry and representation
theory
, the first of its kind in
Hong Kong.
