MPhil student in Technology Leadership and
Entrepreneurship Mr Wing Hong Chan won a Merit
Award in the Tertiary Student Project category in the
Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA) 2014.

Undergraduates Mr Haoran Chen, Mr Chi Cheung Choi,
Ms Michelle Jia Ying Lee, Mr Yuyang Xie and Mr
Yuanhang Zhu, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering,
gained the first runner-up place in the first and largest
national aircraft design competition, organized by the
Aviation Industry Corporation of China.

A team of three MPhil students in Technology
Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Mr Jitesh Chhabria,
Mr Wing Hong Chan and Mr Wing Hang Yip, won
the championship and HKSTP Technopreneur Award
(Gold Award) in the YDC E-Challenge 2015. The team
also gained the Gold Award in the JEC Outstanding
Engineering Project Awards 2015.

A team of six Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
students, Mr Kin Lap Chung, Mr Ho Wang Chung, Mr
Tze Kin Fan, Mr Chun Ting Ng, Mr Koon Nam Wong
and Mr Siu Hong Wu, won the Most Innovative
Design Award in the 4
th
Greater China Region Design
Competition 2015.

MPhil students Mr Tuo Shi, Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering, and Mr Yan Wan, Electronic and Computer
Engineering, received Asian Future Leaders Scholarships
2014-15.

PhD student Mr Feng Ni, Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering, and undergraduate Mr Chun Sing Poon,
Electronic and Computer Engineering, received the Global
Youth Innovator Award at the 2015 International Contest
of Application in Nano-micro Technology (iCAN) Consumer
Electronics Show.

BEng and MPhil graduate Mr Frank Wang, Electronic
and Computer Engineering, was named one of the Top
10 Innovators in China by
Forbes China
.

A team of undergraduate students Ms Sandy Lok Sang
Cheng, Global Business, Mr Henry Ho Ming Chow,
Ms Joyce Wing Tung Lam and Mr Billy Kwai Yin Lee,
Quantitative Finance, won the champion of the SCMP/
IFPHK Financial Planner Awards 2014 (University Student
Category).

Accounting undergraduates Mr Lincoln Chan, Ms
Nicole Li, Ms Coco Tong and Mr Andy Wong, won the
championship and Best Written Report Award in the
Qualification Programme Case Analysis Competition,
organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public
Accountants. Mr Wong was also named Best Presenter.

Four Global Business students, Mr Ryan Cheng,
Ms Cherry Wong, Mr Ray Liu and Ms Hillary Juan, took
the top spot in the Belgrade Business International Case
Competition, held in Serbia.

Undergraduates Mr Philip Yizu Huang, Mr Allen Tong,
Mr Derrick Qi and Mr James Wang, won the championship
of the local final of the Chartered Financial Analyst
Institute’s Research Challenge 2014-15 (Hong Kong).

secured the championship at the Hong Kong Finals of
the L’Oreal Brandstorm Contest.

Outstanding Business Students Award 2015.
