ORGANIZATION
AND RESOURCES
The University restructured administrative units, extended campus facilities,
and made further enterprising efforts on sustainability
ADVANCING ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION
The University announced its Academic Registry would be
formally established on 1 July 2015 following the merger of
the Office of Academic Quality and Undergraduate
Studies and the Academic Records and Registration Office.
The  amalgamation enabled the University to re-organize
and streamline the two offices, consolidate leadership and
management, and improve communication and operational
efficiency in academic administration.
STAFF RECOGNITION
Three staff members were presented with the President’s
Outstanding Service Award in November 2014 in recognition
of their outstanding service that contributes to the betterment
of their work units and the University. A further 163 faculty
and staff members who have worked at the University for
20 years received the Long Service Award to recognize their
loyalty to the University community.
To shore up the culture of service excellence on campus,
the University organized regular seminars on legal, ethical
and management issues commonly encountered in public
institutions and the education profession. The well-received
Wellness Program series was again offered.
CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT
