TO REALIZE THIS VISION: Academic appointments and affiliations • Faculty will have an employment contract with only HKUST or HKUST(GZ), and be offered internationally competitive packages. • Faculty from each campus will be strongly encouraged to forge joint/ affiliate appointments with an academic unit or area at the other campus to pool expertise and foster cross-disciplinary collaborations across related areas. All affiliated faculty, including joint, adjunct and visiting appointments, will be listed in every academic unit’s website and directory.
