OCT The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA (EMBA) program was ranked first in the world in the Financial Times Global Executive MBA Ranking survey. IAS and the Hong Kong Branch of the Chinese National Engineering Research Center for Heavy Metal Pollution Control and Treatment at HKUST co-organized the “IAS Summit Hong Kong – Inventing Today Imagining Tomorrow for Water Pollution Control”. The Division of Environment and Sustainability held a Climathon conference on “Extreme Heat, Extreme Density: Problems and Solutions”. NOV The University’s 24th Congregation conferred honorary doctorates on six distinguished academics and community leaders. HKUST rose one place to No.13 worldwide and remained No.1 in Greater China in the high-profile annual Global Employability University Ranking 2016. HKUST graduates have ranked in the world’s top 20 most employable and as the most employable in Greater China for the past four years. HKUST celebrated the opening of the Academy for Bright Future Young Engineers. The Academy provides opportunities for HKUST engineering students to serve as mentors and engage secondary school students in authentic engineering experience.
