Eight Gordon Research Conferences, prestigious academic gatherings of world-renowned scholars, took place at the Institute in Summer 2016. The conferences covered fields in life science, engineering and physical sciences and two were chaired by HKUST faculty. In addition, IAS hosted two affiliated Gordon Research Seminars for young researchers to engage with the academic community.
